Built in the dirt, the sawdust, and the quiet resilience of the Northern California foothills.
My Manzanita Pet Enrichment LLC was not born in a corporate boardroom. It was built in the dirt, the sawdust, and the quiet resilience of the Northern California foothills.
I spend my days hauling deadfall out of fire-prone canyons, running the sandblaster, monitoring kiln temperatures, and hand-tapping stainless steel hardware. I oversee every single branch that leaves this workshop because when it comes to the safety of your animals, I believe accountability cannot be delegated.
This business is rooted in a simple but powerful idea: transformation.
Where others see hazardous fuel—dead, dry brush that threatens our local communities with catastrophic wildfire—I see potential. By partnering with landowners to clear this overgrown brush, we are actively participating in defensible space initiatives to protect our forests and neighborhoods.
But the transformation goes deeper than the wood. This workshop is built on the principles of honest labor, self-reliance, and personal redemption. There is a profound dignity in working with your hands, in taking something discarded and dangerous and turning it into something beautiful, safe, and necessary. Every perch we craft is a testament to the fact that with enough discipline and care, anything can be given a second life.
I do not believe in high-pressure sales tactics, artificial countdown timers, or cutting corners to save a few cents on hardware. I believe in treating your companion animals with the exact same respect and uncompromising care that I would demand for my own.
When you purchase from My Manzanita Pet Enrichment, you are not just buying a piece of wood. You are supporting a small-batch, craftsman-owned business that values ecological stewardship, radical traceability, and absolute safety above all else.
From the forest floor to your door, I stand behind every piece we build.
